Geoff Stewart

Deputy Director Defense Forensics and Biometrics Agency

Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 1992 from Virginia Tech and retired as a colonel in 2020 as the Deputy Provost Marshal General. Mr. Stewart served overseas in Bosnia, South Korea, and Germany. He deployed to Iraq with a Military Police (MP) battalion advising the Iraqi police. He deployed for a second time to Afghanistan as an advisor to the Afghan national police. Mr. Stewart is a career military police officer who led MP units from platoon through battalion. He commanded a Criminal Investigative Division (CID) battalion at Fort Liberty (formerly Bragg) and served in key positions on the Joint Staff J3 and the Army Staff OPMG. Mr. Stewart currently serves as the Principal Deputy to the Provost Marshal General & Director of the Defense Forensics and Biometrics Agency.
