Canada’s Military has operated in the North for more than one hundred years, and as the area continues to increase in strategic importance, Joint Task Force North mission sets in the Arctic, sub-Arctic and high Arctic regions will continue to grow as well. At this session, you will be able to learn as to Joint Task Force North’s growing area of responsibility, to include how increased activity across the Arctic region has altered current and future security and Defence priorities.
