Donald (BD) Gaddis joined the Boeing Company in July 2016 after 34 years in the U.S. Navy. Commissioned in 1983 he served in a variety of jobs to include two fleet tours in F-14 fighters with the World Famous Red Rippers of VF-11 and VF-84 Jolly Rogers, VX-4 Operational Test Director, AIM-54C Phoenix air-to-air missile, as well as, OPNAV staff as air-to-air missile requirements officer.

After a career transition to the defense acquisition field, he earned his master’s degree in financial management from the Naval Post Graduate School. At NAVAIR, he served in a variety of roles to include F/A-18/EA-18G Program Manager (PMA-265) and Presidential Helicopter Program Manager (PMA-274). His two flag assignments at NAVAIR included Head of Engineering and Commander, Naval Air Warfare Center (Aircraft Division), and subsequently, as Program Executive Officer (Tactical Aircraft). He served as PEO (T) from September 2010 until his retirement from the U.S. Navy in February 2016.

Current role at Boeing is Field and Customer Relations for all USN and USMC programs.
