Commander, 350 Spectrum Warfare Group US Air Force

Col Candice Meredith Sperry is Commander at 350 Spectrum Warfare Group, Eglin AFB, Florida. She leads a group of approximately 1258 U.S. military, civilian, and contractor personnel across six squadrons. The group supports the 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing in delivering electronic warfare capabilities across 22 Combat Air Force platforms, overseeing the modernization, testing, and integration of more than 70+ electronic warfare systems. In this role, she is responsible for executing the Department of the Air Force’s electromagnetic spectrum operations mission through advanced threat analysis, mission data reprogramming, and capability integration.

Col Sperry entered the Air Force in August 2001 through Officer Training School following service as a Market Analyst for the Delaware Department of Health and Human Resources. She is a Distinguished Graduate of Joint Specialized Undergraduate Navigator Training and the USAF Weapons School. She has served in a variety of operational, test, instructional, and strategic positions, including EC-130H Weapons Officer, Commander of the 8th Weapons Squadron, Executive Officer to the Director of the Joint Staff, Legislative Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Chief of Academics at the USAF Weapons School. Prior to her current assignment, she served as the Chief, Electromagnetic Spectrum Superiority Advanced Programs Division, Headquarters Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.

Col Sperry has participated in Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, and WILLING SPIRIT and has served in multiple joint and combat support roles, including Mission Planning Chief, Mission Crew Commander, and Joint Special Operations Task Force Liaison Officer. She is a master electronic warfare officer with over 1,560 flight hours, including 574 combat hours.
