Dr. Kelechi Anyaogu, a senior scientist at Nico Technologies Corporation, discusses composites used in body armor at IDGA's Military Armor Protection event. He details the need to make armor lighter, more durable, and more mobile for warfighters. He also discusses the requirement for modern armor to be able to perform in diverse climates and environmental conditions. In order to acheive these objectives he talks about using ultra-strong nano materials to provide the maximum survivablilty while greatly reducing weight.
