A superb conference again! Very relevant to the latest and greatest in logistics, across the services and across DoD.
Author

Total Asset Visibility will cover the three major technologies that are used to track defense assets: RFID, UID, and ERP software. These technologies work in tandem to achieve a greater level of asset visibility and the ability to exploit that visibility for the most effective supply chain management. An emphasis will be placed on RFID specifically. Why is TAV important right now? There has been a major change in competition for supply chain technology. The DoD is releasing major contracts for new RFID and AIT systems. PMJ-AIT has released RFP’s for active RFIDs capable of transmitting comprehensive data. SAVI was once the proprietary owner of all active RFID, but they have lost that title and are now in the bidding war. The 5th Annual Total Asset Visibility conference couldn't come at a better time.
