Dana Goward, SES on National and Homeland Security in the Arctic

Dana Goward, SES is the Director of Assessment Integration and Risk Management for the USCG.  At IDGA's Maritime Homeland Security event in Miami, FL that took place in April 2010 he discusses the importance of the Arctic and the borders the U.S. shares with Russia and Canada in the region.  He also details the emergence of Chinese interest in the area.  The also mentions that things are changing in the Arctic and elaborates on how this impacts U.S. national policy and security.
