A Veterans Day Message from IDGA

Each year we take a moment to remember the sacrifices of those who have worn the uniform to defend the liberty of the United States of America.

There are approximately 22 million surviving American military veterans, and this Veterans Day IDGA would like to acknowledge the men and women of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Marines, and the families who know what it means to experience the hardship of being separated from their loved ones.

In 2011, Veterans Day falls a few weeks short of the 70th Anniversary of the Pearl Harbor Attacks which led the US into World War II in the Pacific. This day reminds us all of the ultimate sacrifice of the men and women who rushed to enter the service of their country, to protect America and its values.

America has made steps towards peace this past year with Obama’s commitment to removing troops from Iraq, it is in this spirit that on Veterans Day, IDGA honors those currently serving and our fellow veterans, past and present.

A TRIBUTE TO OUR MILITARY In support of Veterans and an effort to highlight their global contributions a video has been made for the 1st AD Museum at Ft. Bliss, Texas. We are seeking the support of IDGA members in reaching 1 million youtube views. Please log on and help us reach our 1 million view goal, post a message, tell us your story.
