U.S.-Iraq Drawdown Remains a "Difficult Job"

"Let me say this as plainly as I can—by August 31, 2010, our combat mission in Iraq will end," President Barack Obama said on February 27th this year.
Just over a month after taking office, Obama fulfilled his promise to remove U.S. troops from the country and the drawdown process has been in action ever since.
The challenge has been to remove both personnel and equipment from the country, while also ensuring that the United States leaves Iraq in a stable condition.
