Dr. Mark Fisher, who holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Oklahoma State University, discusses methods and forensic techniques to detect chemical signatures of explosives used in IEDs. The strategy of detecting indivuduals and facilities associated with the manufacture of improvised explosives can result in stopping large scale production of IEDs and keep many from ever making it to the battlefield.
